Don’t Worry, Your Data Is Safe

Analyst typing during a data protection audit

Hiring a security company means handing over keys, codes, camera feeds and staff details. That is an enormous amount of trust — so here is exactly how we treat your data, in plain language, with nothing buried in legalese.

Encrypted Everywhere It Travels

Alarm signals, video streams and cloud backups move over encrypted connections, and stored footage sits behind AES-256 encryption with keys you control. If a recorder is stolen, its cloud copy cannot be read by whoever holds the box. If a laptop is lost, remote wipe kills local credentials within minutes.

We protect your information the way we protect your premises: in layers, with logs, and with someone watching.

Seen Only On A Need-To-Know Basis

Control-room operators see your cameras only to verify alarms you asked us to monitor — and every viewing is written to an audit log with a reason. Officers receive addresses and contact numbers for their shifts, nothing more. Leavers lose system access on their final day, automatically. No exceptions, including for managers.

Kept Only As Long As Needed

Camera footage follows the retention you choose — typically 30 days — then deletes itself. Incident clips held for police or insurers are stored separately with a case reference and destroyed when the case closes. Access logs and patrol reports follow the same rule. And if you ever leave us, your data exports to you first and deletes from us second — certified in writing.

Questions about any of this? Our computer security team runs the same discipline for client businesses, and our front desk will answer data questions within one business day.
